SupportMyIEP (operated by Polsia Inc.) provides AI-powered special education advocacy tools and consultation services. Our website is located at supportmyiep.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your child's educational information.

What We Collect

When you use SupportMyIEP, we may collect:

Information you provide: Email address, child's grade level, and any IEP text or documents you voluntarily upload for analysis.
Usage data: How you interact with our site (anonymized, aggregated analytics).
Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

Generate your IEP analysis and deliver your report
Process consultation bookings and communicate about sessions
Send transactional emails related to your analysis or booking
Improve our services in aggregate, anonymized form

HIPAA & FERPA Compliance

                Important: IEP documents may contain Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA and education records under FERPA. We treat these with the same care we'd expect for our own family.
            

Uploaded IEP documents are processed for analysis purposes only. After analysis is complete, your IEP text is not stored or retained on our servers. It is held in memory during processing and discarded immediately after your analysis is delivered.

Your email address and analysis metadata (date, grade, access status) are retained so you can retrieve future analyses. This record is stored securely and is not shared with any third parties.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information, IEP documents, or analysis data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties. Your data is yours. Period.

Data Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption). Our servers are hosted on Render with encrypted database storage via Neon PostgreSQL. Access is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Cookies

We use minimal session cookies for authentication (if applicable) and localStorage for saving your email and analysis preferences in your browser. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us
Request a copy of your analysis history
Opt out of non-essential communications at any time

Children's Privacy

SupportMyIEP is used by parents and legal guardians on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately.
